Dr Beril is a Medical Aesthetic specialist and Businesswoman who owns and operates centers across Turkiye. Based in Gaziantep, she brought the first mesotherapy technique to Turkey and her medical technique called combo face has received international registration. She became the President of GAGIKAD and organized the “Turkey Leading Women Summit”. A TedX speaker, she regularly speaks on Fox, Habertürk, CNN Türk, Ekotürk and BusinessChanel. She is an alpine skier, CMAS 3 star diver and international underwater photographer. She is a member of KAGIDER.

Dr. Zaidi has been the Executive Director of the IBA, Karachi, since 2020. He is a renowned political economist with an experience of four decades of teaching and research in Pakistan and abroad. His areas of interest in research include political economy, development, the social sciences, and history. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Director, IBA Karachi, Dr. Zaidi served as Professor at Columbia University, New York and held a joint position at the School of International and Public Affairs, and at the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies, from 2010 – 2020. Dr Zaidi is the Chairperson IBA Board of Governors, and also on the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Mamta Murthi is vice president for human development at the World Bank. She oversees the Global Practices for Education; Health, Nutrition and Population; Gender; Social Protection and Jobs; and the Human Capital Project. An economist by training, she has published extensively on poverty, demography, education, pensions and skills, and is known for her econometric studies on fertility in India. She was deputy director of the World Development Report on Development and the Next Generation in 2006 and MacArthur Fellow for Poverty and Inequality at King’s College, Cambridge during 1998–2000

His Excellency, George Steiner is the current Ambassador of Switzerland to Pakistan. He joined Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in 1996 and has worked on several assignments including Public Law, Humanitarian Law, Environment, Transport, Energy, Health including Crisis Management. His Diplomatic experience has spanned a decade and has served as Ambassador to Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Niger and Chad. He studied law at the University of Fribourg and was admitted to the bar in Zurich, where he joined one of the leading law firms in Switzerland.

Myra started her career in the investment banking and financial services industry in London, UK where she worked at Citigroup, ING and Deloitte for over a decade. She then returned to Pakistan and set up Co-natural, Pakistan’s first natural and organic skin and hair care company in 2016, the leading local natural skin and hair care manufacturer. She was selected for “Australia Awards”. In 2018, she also received the “Laurels of Honor” award by LCCI for service to Environment & Women Entrepreneurship. In 2019. Conatural, was used as a case study for “World Bank Pakistan Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Study”. Conatural was the first woman owned beauty company in Pakistan to raise venture capital from investors in 2020.She completed her Executive MBA from Georgetown- ESADE in 2012

As part of the MSIM senior leadership team, Seema is focused on strategic client relationships, investment talent development and diversity initiatives across the platform. Seema joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 and has 28 years of investment experience. Seema is also the Founder and Chair of Girls Who Invest, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in portfolio management and executive leadership in the asset management industry. She was awarded in 2021 the insignia of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honor) by France, the country’s highest civil and military award. She was also recognized in 2021 as one of 100 most influential women in U.S. finance by Barron’s.

Her Excellency, Andrea Wicke began her career in the Arts and followed her passion into the Foreign Service. She has been posted in many countries including Croatia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Malaysia. Currently she is serving as Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan since October 2022. She completed her Postgraduate Studies in International Relations at Vienna University, Austria.

Tania, Co Founder of DBank, a digital banking solution for the Pakistani market, believes in transforming the financial market. She was the Chief of Staff & Head of Strategic Initiatives on the Next Billion Users (NBU) team at Google which is focused on building new products and services that are aimed at addressing the emerging trends and needs of users in growth markets. Prior to this, Tania was a leader in the Global Business Organization at Google in the US. She also has experience working in Singapore as the Country Manager for South Asia Frontier Markets. Previously, Tania co-founded a mobile health diagnosis company Click Diagnostics, that connects rural patients in emerging markets to doctors globally. She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and BSc from Brandeis University.

With experience of over 3 decades Kamran has worked for ENAR Petrotech, Indus Motors and Midas Safety. He joined EFU in risk management department in 2003 and has led various departments including Risk, Property and Engineering and technical departments. He was elected at IAP’s Executive Committee as Vice Chairman in 2019. He was involved in all major infrastructure and industrial projects mainly driven by International Lenders in addition to all number of CPEC and lender driven projects since 2014. He completed his MBA in finance from IBA in 2001.

Manolya SENOL joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of France in 2012. Prior to that she enjoyed an illustrious career in academia, teaching History for 6 years. After transitioning careers and joining the Foreign Service, she worked in the Embassy of France in Georgia and then Kazakhstan. Multilingual, she speaks French, Turkish, Georgian etc. She is currently appointed to the Consulate General of France, Karachi as Deputy Consul General, since August 2023 and leads the Finance and Administration teams.

Qashif Effendi has over 26 years’ international work experience as CEO, Director and General Management positions in top multinationals in the MENA and South Asia regions. He has worked with Chevron, Philips, Unilever, Tetley, Abu Dhabi National Industrial Projects Co., UAE. Brands like Philips Whirlpool, Dalda Cooking Oil, Brooke Bond Supreme, Tetley and Reem achieved tremendous growth during his stewardship. He believes that learning and sharing is the essence of life He is working towards the launch of his start up Three Musketeers Kids Company in Canada. Visiting Professor at George Brown College Toronto and visiting faculty at IBA, Karachi.

Ronak Lakhani is a recipient of Sitar-e-Imtiaz, for her service towards the mission of Special Olympics. She was elected to the Special Olympics International board in November 2015 and is currently the Chairperson on the Board of Special Olympics Pakistan. She has been involved with the movement since 1989 when she was a volunteer at the first City Games in Karachi. Special Olympics is an international movement with the mission to provide year round sports training to children and adults with disabilities and bring them into mainstream society. She is also the Vice Chair of NOWPDP and President of the Pakistan Swimming Association, Sindh.
